Lack of Sleep is Allowing Diseases Within Your Body

We live in a society that rewards sleep deprivation. You are told you need to work more and sleep less. Yet so many of us have poor moods, live depressed, have diseases within our bodies, and are suffering from mental health disorders. Many of these ailments are related to a lack of proper sleep.

Ellen White often taught that you should, “Give yourself proper time to sleep. They who sleep give nature time to build up and repair the weary waste of the organs.”

Many people, when they need rest take a substance to stay awake. That is exactly the opposite of what their bodies and mind need.

Rest is one of God’s 8 Laws of Health.
